The Office of President Akufo-Addo has in 4th April 2024 Moved Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih From Upper West Region to become the Upper East Regional Minister, Whilst Mr. Stephen Yakubu Takes Over the Upper West Region as Regional Minister.

According the Presidency’s Letter Signed by Mr. Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications, this is to Ensure they Work Effectively.

Dr. Bin Salih was Made Upper West Regional Minister in 2019 after Alhaji Alhassan Sulemana was Reassigned.

PRESIDENT AKUFO-ADDO RESHUFFLES REGIONAL MINISTERS
The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has undertaken the following changes to the regional composition of his government.

Effectively, immediately, the Upper East Regional Minister, Hon. Stephen Yakubu, will assume the role and become the new Upper West Regional Minister. Similarly,
These changes are part of President Akufo-Addo’s ongoing efforts to ensure effective governance across the country, and has tasked the Ministers to work tirelessly to promote the welfare and development of the people of Upper West and Upper East regions, respectively.
