The Fashion Department of Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University in Wa Organized a fashion Exhibition Show on Friday 9th, August 2024.

The occasion marked one of the remarkable rostrum for students to display fabrics produced by weaving, textile and other well designed outfits which meets fashion standards in the industry.

Mr. Isaac Kofi Worlany Awuya, Head of Department express optimism that the occasion shall serve as a prodigious moment to explore new discoveries and improve in marketing Textile brands.”This is the department of fashion Design and Textiles, this is our Annual Fashion Show, the program is entertaining but more importantly, it’s an academic requirement which means at the end of every semester each student is given a task, the first years are to sew two dresses.

Level 200’s were on attachment and they have come to join us, they are coming with the family collection. The first years will also come in with Thier second dress and it will be scored, level 300’s will come out with four sets of designs, we have best designer for level 100, best designer for level 200 and overall best designer for level 300, we’ll also have first runner up and second runner up..”.

Chairman of the Occasion who Doubles as Chairman of Upper West Regional Tailors and Dressmakers Association, Mr. Saeed Abdul Moomin, Expressed Gratitude for being made Chairman, he expressed enthusiasm indicating the program will go a long way to improve outcomes in fashion and Design.

Speech By Chairman I am very delighted to be given this huge responsibility to chair this all important occassion. I will use This opportunity to thank the Management and stuff of this noble University, especially Fashion Department.
