Vendors selling items and food near the Nadowli town junction are counting their losses after a heavily loaded articulator truck with registration number GM 1037-13 crashed this evening at about 3:00pm.

The driver is said to have had his steering wheel locked upon approaching the crossed road from the Jirapa side of the junction.

Food sellers used bag dealers, Yam sellers, and beverage sellers had to run for their lives when a truck crashed into their wares, damaging them completely.

Food cages and other metal container stores were destroyed beyond recognition, while cooking utensils, dishes, fresh yams second hand backs scattered all over the place.

The police however were at the scene ensuring safety as there were no fatalities or any casualty recorded at the time our sources got to the scene.
