The NDC’S Parliamentary Candidate for Sissala East Constituency, Mr. Mohammed Bataglia has expressed worry over absence of an Orthopedic Doctor in Sissala East Municipality, an Area with a population of 80,619 According to the 2021 Population and Housing Census.

Speaking to Radford FM Morning Show on 6th November 2024.

Mr. Mohammed Bataglia indicated that the Sissala East Municipality has no Orthopedic Doctor compelling them to refer patients to Wa or Nandom in Vehicles such as Pick Ups when there is an Emergency.

“..When there is an Accident, Tumu has no orthopedic doctor, we have to go to Nandom or Wa”.

He also indicated that there are no fridges to store some Medicines in Health facilities.

“Our Health facilities lack several things, we can’t even freeze some medicines due to the absence of fridges, these are some of the problems I intend to solve.”
