The Upper West Regional Minister, Mr. Stephen Yakubu has Called for people of Wa Central Constituency to vote for Hajia Humu Awudu to become Member of Parliament during the Campaign Launch of Hajia Humu Awudu at the Wa Tendamba Primary School Park.

Speaking to a Crowd at the Space, on Saturday 9th November 2024, he indicated that the MP for Wa Central, Dr. Rashid Hassan Pelpuo was busy schooling and Focusing on a PhD Program of Study instead of Serving in Parliament.

“..When I met him he wasn’t Dr., today I saw by his name, Dr., that means he was studying a phd program even in Parliament, he has gone to improve himself but not you, he has left Parliament and he is in the classroom learning for himself, this is the man you’ve put in Parliament”.

He discouraged party members from complaining and expressing disappointment in the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“..Those of you here who are not happy, this is not the time to complain, this is the time to work, produce Hajia so that you can go to Hajia to complain if she doesn’t do what you want but if you complain and you don’t put her in Parliament, there is no one to complain to..”
