The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Northern Development Authority (NDA), Mr Sulley Sambian has urged voters in the Wa Central Constituency reject the incumbent Member of Parliament, Dr Rashid Pelpuo in the upcoming December 7 election.

Mr. Sambian stated that voting for Dr. Pelpuo would be a significant mistake, noting that he is neither development-oriented nor possesses the necessary skills to advocate for development in the constituency.

Addressing thousands of NPP supporters in the Wa Central Constituency after a “Mega Walk” on Saturday, November 9, 2024, the NDA CEO stated that the NPP would win the 2024 elections. He indicated that his interaction with Hajia Humu Awudu shows that she is passionate about the development of Wa Central Constituency. “Today I want to tell you one thing; we made a mistake in 2020.

There is every reason to correct that mistake in 2024. I have worked so closely with Hajia Humu and I know the kind of person she is. Hajia Humu is a fighter…. Now politics has changed. Politics is about who can lobby and bring things to you.”
