Whilst we have 19 Days left to Vote on 7th of December 2024, several people have varied views as to who will emerge victorious on the Day.

The Wa Central Constituency has several communities and the NPP Government has invested in several areas from road Infrastructure to Industries.

Despite the Investment and development, several communities have called for attention and have issued caution notices to the Incumbent Government through the Wa Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Issahaku Tahiru Moomin.

There are three communities that have expressed displeasure with the government, two communities are threatening to boycott the elections.

The communities are Danko, Gurimuni and Jonga.

Residents of Danko have expressed displeasure with the state of Development in their Community, Residents spoke to Upper West Media Team.

According to People in Danko, 6 months Ago , their road leading to Wa hasn’t been fixed despite several calls made to the Wa Municipal Assembly.

The Wa MCE however indicated that the road was awarded on contract years ago and taking back the contract from the current contractor will result in a judgement debt. Upper West Media Team shall put an eye on the area during the elections.

Secondly, People of Jonga Community have had a mixed reaction over their new road project, some families have indicated that their resources and farms were destroyed without proper compensation, the Bonsingvii Family have expressed mixed reactions towards the current government.

Gurimuni
People of Gurimuni, four weeks Ago On the 17th of October 2024 expressed Dismay with the Current NPP Government, indicating that their roads have been abandoned since 2004. They threatened not to vote if their road isn’t fixed.
