The Zinye Community, A Farming Located in the Wa East District of Upper West Region have boycotted the 2024 General Elections after some demands they made to Government and Stakeholders weren’t provided.

During an interview with some Upper West Media Houses, the community demanded for a Health facility to facilitate easy access to healthcare but weren’t able to get ehat they demanded for.

They didn’t avail themselves for the voting exercise resulting in a Zero Record in the Area when EC Officers and a Media Personality of Info Radio Visited the Community.

The Seat of Wa East Constituency has been won by Dr. Godfred Seidu Jasaw, the Incumbent Member of Parliament on the Ticket of National Democratic Congress (NDC).
