On January 1st 2025, a joyful event unfolded at the Tumu Municipal Hospital as three newborns welcomed the new year.

The dedicated midwives at the maternity unit tirelessly worked through the early hours to bring these little ones into the world.

During a visit by the news team from Sissala Radio, it was reported that among the three babies delivered, one was a baby girl while the other two were baby boys.

The first birth of the year occurred around 4:30 AM, and the proud mother, Amama Jibiliru, could hardly contain her excitement. As she held her newborn daughter, Amama expressed her profound joy at giving birth on the first day of the new year.

“It’s as if the universe has gifted me something special as we step into this new chapter,” she remarked with a beaming smile.

Amama Jibiliru is a mother of five children. She shared that before this, she had welcomed four boys into her family. The arrival of her daughter on this significant date has filled her heart with a sense of fulfilment.

With tears of happiness in her eyes, she thanked the Almighty for blessing her with a baby girl, reflecting on how she has longed for a daughter amidst her boys. This new addition not only marks a personal milestone for Amama but also brings a sense of balance to her family.
