A former Deputy Minister of Agriculture under erstwhile President Kuffour Administration, Astute Lawyer and former NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Wa Central Constituency, Lawyer Clement Eledi gas declared his stance on the issues of LGBTQ+ and Transgender.

In a statement issued on his social media platform on Friday, 24th December 2025, he expressed full endorsement of President Donald Trump’s tenure as president of USA expressing optimism that he is out to change the world in a positive light.

“You may not like Trump but he will sanitize the world and bring stability. No more transgender nonsense anan same sex marriage”.

There have been calls for President Mahama to Pass the Ant LGBTQ+ bill to law but President Mahama indicated that the Bill Died in Ghana’s Eighth Parliament and should be reintroduced in the 9th Parliament before it can be considered.
