Member of Parliament responsible for Wa Central Constituency, Dr. Rashid Pelpuo has Handed Over Leadership of Upper West Caucus to Dr Sabastian N. Sandaare, MP for Daffiama-Bussie-Issa Ahead of vetting and optimism of being approved to serve in a Ministerial Role.

The Minister Designate for Labour, Jobs, and Employment, has officially handed over leadership of the Upper West Caucus on Wednesday , 29th January 2025, ahead of vetting on Thursday, 30th January 2025.

In the restructured leadership of the caucus, the second longest-serving Member of Parliament in the region has assumed the role of Chairman. Hon. Bede Ziedeng, Member of Parliament for Lawra Constituency has been elected Vice Chairman, Hon. Anthony Sumah, Member of Parliament for Nadowli-Kaleo takes over the role of Secretary, and Hon. Mohammed Sakparu, Member of Parliament for Sissala West remains Treasurer.

The transition signifies a renewed commitment to championing the development agenda of the Upper West Region under the guidance of its restructured leadership.
