The Upper West Regional Chief Imam, Alhaji Osman Kanihi has declared tomorrow as beginning of Ramadan Fasting for 2025 after the Crescent was spotted at Chorkor, a Suburb of Wa Metropolitan in the Upper West Region.

This development was revealed by Sungmaale FM on Friday, 28th of February 2025 on the Social Media Platforms.

Fasting is an Islamic requirement by every Muslim annually with the exception of people with some critical health conditions According to Scholars.

“JUST IN : Ramadan crescent has been sighted in Wa Chorkor – U/W Regional Chief Imam”

This Ramadan Fasting is expected to lat for either 29 or 30 Days.
