The Upper West Regional Secretariat of New Patriotic Party headed by Dr. Tanko Daniel Dauda(PhD) has suspended the Nandom Constituency Secretary, Mr. Martin Wuoyang over Misconduct. This is in line interference made in line with reinstatement of Mr. Alois Mohl, a former aspirant for the position of Parliamentary Candidate in the Justice Ended Parliamentary Primaries of the New Patriotic Party.

this in line with constitutional provisions of the New Patriotic Party, Article 3(7).

Mr. Mohl was suspended from the party in 2024 but was reinstated on 25th February 2025.

NOTICE TO STEP ASIDE AS CONSTITUENCY SECRETARY AND REFERRAL TO THE REGIONAL DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE OF THE PARTY

The Regional Executive Committee at a meeting on the 2nd of March, 2025 considered a petition against you in relation to a statement put out by you and addressed to the Regional Chairman of the party. The said petition is attached to this notice for your attention.

Considering the content of the statement and the petition for your suspension, the Regional Executive Committee in line with the disciplinary and grievance procedures of the Party as outlined in Article 4 of the party’s constitution has referred you to the Regional Disciplinary Committee.

The Regional Executive Committee in line with Article 3(7) of the constitution also unanimously ask that you step aside with immediate effect as the Constituency Secretary of Nandom pending the recommendations of the Regional Disciplinary Committee,
