A 16-Year Old Boy has reportedly drowned in one of the Oldest Man Made Dams in Wa Metropolitan.

The Incident was reported by Home Radio in Wa on Wednesday 5th March 2025.

Tragic news struck Jangbeyiri as 16-year-old Abdul Majeed Raef Jimba, a student at Star Standard School, drowned in the Wadiah Dam along the Kaleo Road.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when Raef and some friends went swimming to cool off during the high temperatures experienced in Wa this Ramadan season. Their intention was to relieve the heat.
