Nadowli-Kaleo District Police Command Headed by Supt. Franklin Kramoh has begun Enforcing the Wa High Court Injunction Placed on a Demonstration Exercise Planned to Take Effect Today, 21st June 2025.

Some youth of Nadowli were to engage in a demonstration exercise today against Azumah Resources Ltd, a mining company situated in Nadowli for over 2 decades.

According to the group, the demonstration is to express concerns over lack of significant development and support by the mining company despite gaining from their natural resources.

The Wa High School Presided Over by his Lordship Justice Yussif Assibey Placed the injunction on Friday, 20th June 2025 through Court Case number UW/WA/HC/E10/03/2025 the the Matter of IGP vs Prince Sabogu and Ors.
