P.T.A Chairman of Kpongu Primary School, Mr. Zakaria Asaana has called for support from stakeholders to rescue children of Kpongu KG from Thirst and Dryness during learning Hours at School.
“On Monday, a poly tank that supports us with water fell to the ground and go damaged, we are in need of support to replace or fix it in order to help these children to have access to Water”.

Speaking to Upper West Media Team on 19th June 2025, he expressed worry over the situation indicating that child seek out of school with excuse of going to drink water and do not return afterwards, a situation affecting teaching and learning in Kpongu KG School located at the southern part of Wa Metropolis in Upper West Region.
A poly tank which could carry about 20 drums of Water in support of Thier Demands was pushed to the ground by a strong wind accompanied by rainfall on Monday, 16th June 2025.
They have appealed to the Islamic Education Unit, Other Stakeholders to support them.
