Yagha Rock is Reportedly the Longest Rock in the North of Ghana Stretching for About 1.8km from East to West.
It’s the Second Highest Rock Behind Ombo Rock and It’s About 55km from Wa in the Upper West Region.

People of Yagha
The People of Yagha are predominantly crop and Animal farmers, Some travelled from Neighboring Burkina Faso to Settle in the area whilst others are Dagombas per History Reporters. They are Dagaaba and Birifor.
Yagha is Located in the Jirapa Municipality, shares boundaries with Nadowli-Kaleo District and the Lawra Municipality.
Some Natives of Yagha have traveled out of the Community to areas including Bono Region, Bono East for Improved Incomes and lifestyles, they mostly Travel home to attend funerals and return to the South.

Some others have settled in parts of Wa including Gurimuni in the Kpongu Electoral Area.
Gurimuni is close to the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS).
