The Assembly Member For Kpaguri Electoral Area, Hon. Osman Nurideen has called for parents to be watchful over their children in order for the children not to loiter outside during odd hours.

He noted that some of these children are becoming school dropouts because of their lack of supervision and parental responsibility, he noted instances where some of these children are spotted sitting by the road side aimlessly without parents showing concern.

He concluded that the development is unfortunate and has psychological Effects on the children.

Statement

Children within the Ages of 4 to 20 have been loitering about aimlessly on our streets for a long time. Parents should channel their energy towards monitoring their movements, some of these children have become School dropouts, a concern we really need to look at. They are our future leaders and we should see them as treasures.

Parent can even send children on an errand without cross-checking to know where exactly they are after series of delays.

We are also trying to do away with Street music and late music shows in the Kpaguri Electoral Area.
