Two Young men have been reported Dead on Thursday, 5th February 2026 after they were electrocuted whilst at a construction site along the Wa-Guli-Kperisi Road.

The two deceased persons were working on a building reportedly owned by a young man only identified as Rauf when the incident happened.

A Funeral Arrangement has been set for 6th February 2026 at their hometown, Kpongu Community in the Wa Metropolis of Upper West Region whilst police are currently investigating the development.

The Wa Magazine Fitting Yard has been in the news for several unfortunate developments in the past. In January 2021, 5 Years Ago, Two Welders Died in a Tanker Explosion at Wa Magazine Fitting Yard.

The deceased, 24-year-old Amidu and 20-year-old Issahaku, were welding the leakages on the tanker at the Wa Magazine when the explosion happened.
