Several people have embraced the New Achievement of the District overseeen Administratively by Mr. Irreneus Naawule as District Chief Executive and Prof. Titus Beyuo as Member of Parliament.
Before the Radio Station was Established, there were calls in 2024 by. Upper West Media Team for a Radio station to be established in platforms including Lambussie/Karni -Hot Issues. A Senior Lecturer in the Platform by Name Dr. Paul Aazagreyir Devoted Ghc7,000 to the Course urging others to Support with Ghc50 each. The Idea was challenged and rubbished by a section of the group however in 2026 the radio station has been established as Planned.
Currently two Districts have no radio stations limiting access to information and limiting job creation opportunities in the area. These Districts are Wa West District and Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District.
Statement from Prof. Paul Aazagreyir
“We thank God. Our common fund, health insurance fund, and social intervention fund, among other funds, have been haircuts to set up a private radio station for us.
We hope the radio station speeds up development in Lambussie.
I have done my part. The pressure to get glory has forced a politician to finish it up.
Congratulations to Prof.Kofi.
It is the development we need.”
