A lot of Passengers bordering Bus to Wa from Tutuka lorry station at Obuasi in the Ashanti region got stranded for more than six hours after the station management failed to either fix or replace a faulty Bus that passengers booked ticket for.

According to a passenger who spoke to yours truly, the Bus was supposed to take off at 4:30Pm to Wa through Kumasi however, due to electrical fault they could not and all efforts to either replace the Bus,return passengers monies or transport fares to border different transport or fix the faulty car proved futile.
The issue sparked quarrel among passengers and management after they were deceived that a different Bus was coming from Kumasi and almost at Ahwian Nkwanta only to be told later that, the Bus has started to take off from Kumasi to Obuasi.
At the station, kids and the elderly including aged women are left to sleep on bare floor waiting for the Bus for almost six hours in the season of mosquitoes.
The question is how is Ghana’s transport system still in disarray in this modern system especially private transport operators?

that’s how they are. We last boarded a bus from Wa ( just by Gwollu station) to Kumasi. The bus broke down in a village close to Wenchi around 1am to 2am. Around 3am the driver took a bus passing by without telling us anything. We thought he was going to Wenchi to get a fitter, we waited till 7 to 8, but still there was no sign of him. Some of us just had to board taxi to Wenchi. Fortunately, there was a straight car to Kumasi.

Most of these our northern drivers and station masters don’t understand that they are working with humans.
