Member of Parliament for Wa West Constituency in Upper West Region, Mr. Peter Lanchene Toobu has said he is not thinking about primaries for now, indicating that he is currently focused on delivering the mandate entrusted him by the good people of the Wa West Constituency.

He, however, expressed confidence that he will “floor” anyone who comes to contest him for the seat when the time is due.

He spoke with Mak Evening Talk Show hosted by Muniru Ibrahim on 9th April 2026.

He assured that Efforts are in place to Work in Ga-Wechiau-Dorimon Road after consultation with the Roads Minister, Mr. Kwame Abgodza.

Mr. Peter Lanchene Toobu has begun process to reunite the Birifors and Wechiau Communities after some tribal conflicts ensued in the past, he was recently barred from The Wechiau Naa’s Palace.
