The Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament, Rt. Hon Alban Bagbin has supported Sombo Senior High School with a Standard Communication Sounds system worth Ghc100,000 to enhance effective communication, Teaching and Entertainment in the School.

The Sound Systems were handed over to the school on Sunday, 17th May 2026 at the Premises of Sombo Senior High School in the Nadowli-Kaleo District of Upper West Region and received by the Headmaster, Mr. Batholomew Monsienyiri.

According to the Headmaster, the Sound systems will support the English Department to effectively teach students topics and practical sessions of Oral English to prepare them for the Impending Wassce Examinations.

Mr. Batholomew Monsienyiri thanked the speaker and acknowledged that his support will be utilized to improve performance in the Pre-tertiary Institution.

A Staff Administration Block and Fence Wall have also been constructed and is near completion to facilitate effective Human Resource Management in the Senior High School.
