Response by the Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency and Minister of Labor

Amin what else do you want? Unless you’re deliberately trying to make us talk, we have 65 school blocks being built in the region, majority being built in the Wa Central, we have a new airport being built, we have the big push road running through Wa and for the first time a dual carriage will run across Wa town from the UDS, we have so many clinics being renovated, we have many Wa town roads being worked and will be tarred, and many people in Wa being employed in places since independence nobody from Wa had never worked etc. Please be optimistic. What’s happening had never happened in Wa within 4years of one administration. Or you imagine within 1 year like magic everything will appear visible to you? No things don’t work like that. Wait and you’ll thank John Mahama for everything. Dr. Rashid Pelpuo Stated.

In rejoin, Mr Amin Abdul Rahman , an Educationist and Committed Supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) made reference to the Lawmaker’s 2024 Political Campaign and the Promises he made.

Honorable Minister, I would like to bring to your attention that the issues highlighted in your write-up are not unique to Wa Central, but rather a national concern. However, recalling your promise prior to the 2024 election, you emphasized building human resources. Unfortunately, the outcomes we’ve witnessed so far fall short of expectations. When constituents approach you seeking employment opportunities as promised, their efforts are often met with discouragement. My primary concern is the lack of tangible evidence showcasing your commitment as a cabinet minister, particularly in job creation. Furthermore, the selective manner in which appointments have been distributed has raised concerns, especially considering the collective support you received. It’s evident that individuals without government appointments have made significant contributions to their people more than you . I’m hopeful you’ll understand the essence of my message.
