Some Residents of Dokpong on Sunday , 21st June 2026 have Called for the Assembly to urgently Work on Dokpong-Kumbiehi Road and Open it for Use. The Road Occupied by Some Unauthorized Buildings should be linked to Polibu Street.

A Concerned Resident by Name Mahama Yussif indicated that the road was earmarked for Construction in the year 2012 but has since been abandoned for other projects.

Mahama Yussif also noted that the Road would open Room for several opportunities including Businesses to be established and free movement of goods and services.

Another Resident by name Faharideen was also optimistic the road would boost his business as Welding and Fabrication expert.

Checks by Upper West Media revealed that there were some Unauthorized Buildings erected on a stretch of land set aside for construction of the road stretching roughly 0.8km from West to East from Polibu Street close to Kedge Lodge in the Wa Metropolis.

The Mayor of Wa, Alhaji Nurah Danwana has been called upon to take necessary steps in opening the road to use.
