The Retained Regional Chairman of New Patriot Party(NPP) Alhaji Aziz known as Chairman White has expressed confidence in reclaiming the seat of Nandom after losing the Seat to the National Democratic Congress in 2024.

Speaking on Info Radio Today, 15th August 2026 in a pre-recorded voice, he also blamed the lack of Reshuffle at the top heirachy of appointment in the Region and Districts for their appalling loss of all three parliamentary seats to the National Democratic Congress.

“There was a research at the national level and per that research the seat of Nandom was the safest, we were all surprised when we lost it, meanwhile there were concerns that government wasn’t ready to Reshuffle some appointees in the region, a reason we lost votes”.

Currently, Alhaji Aziz White has been Retained as Chairman after Acting as chairman since Middle of 2024 when his boss, Chairman SB Kangberee was reported dead defeating the incumbent Regional Organizer, Alhaji Kantong Alaska by a Landslide Margin.

He also served as 1st Vice Chairman for close to Eight Years, since 2018.
