The Mayor for Wa, Alhaji Nurah Issah Danwana, on behalf of the Upper West Regional Minister, Hon. Charles Lwanga Puozuing Esq, has received the Technical Team from Maripoma Construction Ltd, the contractor for the new Wa Airport project.

According to information picked up from the Mayor, the team is in the Upper West Region to carry out survey works and to site the runway and terminal building.

The Mayor together with the technical team visited the project site, where he urged the contractor to expedite the process to pave way for a groundbreaking ceremony for the commencement of the project.

The technical team picked coordinates of the area to facilitate engineering and aerospace compliance.

The team is made up of the Contract Manager, Shaiba Y. Issah, Commercial Engineer, Cui Yukun, Designer, Shu Junliang, Interpreter, Liao Xueying and Surveying Engineer, Zeng Ri.
