The Ministry of Roads and Highways Led by Hon. Kwakye Agbodza inspected the Bulenga Yaala Road Project Today, 3rd September 2026. The ministry indicated that, the road will be completed by the year 2027 and is currently 27% Completed.

The Ministry also toured the Wa-Han-Tumu Road to inspect the Project, and per reports, it’s to be completed in the year 2027.

BIG PUSH UPDATE

🚧 Upgrading of Wa–Bulenga–Yaala Road (KM 37.00–74.00) 🚧

Work on the upgrading of the Wa–Bulenga–Yaala Road under the Government’s Big Push programme is progressing steadily. The project is currently at 27 percent completion and ahead of schedule.

So far, the contractor, ASTEE COMPANY LIMITED, has undertaken the construction of U-drains, box culverts, earthworks, and filling to formation level.

Hon. Kwame Agbodza inspected the project as part of his tour of the Upper West and Upper East Regions earlier today and expressed satisfaction with the progress of works emphasizing that only quality work will be accepted under the Big Push programme.

“We will not accept any substandard work. The reset is about doing quality work and giving the people value for money,” he noted.

Chiefs and elders in the area thanked the Government for fulfilling its promise and bringing relief to the people.
