A Former Mayor of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly who is currently seeking the Nod to be First Vice Chairman of the NPP was in Upper West Region on a Tour and in the Process his Convoy was involved in an Accident. There were no casualties per reliable reports gathered on 28th September 2026.

During his tour he visited some Sissala Constituencies in the Upper West Region, during his travel along the Sissala West Belt between Pulina and Jeffisi, he was involved in a Accident but escaped unhurt, one of his vehicles which was part of the convoy veered of the road into the bush after a tyre developed a fault.

A team of Regional NPP Executives led by the Regional Chairman, Alhaji Aziz White rushed to the Scene to assist Sam Pyne and his team.

This was Revealed by the Current Deputy Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Baba Waala in a Statement on his Facebook Wall.

Sam Pyne, a former KMA Chief Executive, is currently campaigning for the position of First Vice Chairman of the NPP as the party prepares for its internal elections.

The accident temporarily disrupted the team’s movement but did not result in any reported casualties.
