Several road users and traders in Wa have expressed fear and worry after a swarm of bees have taken over their business spaces along the Dodoo Street in the Heart of Wa.

According to Eyewitness, the bees have inhabited a CCTV Camera Pole of he Ghana Police Service and have been there for over two years without any reliable solutions to get rid of them.

A Trader by name Sabutu Issahaku spoke to Upper West Media Team on 26th of October 2026 expressing fear and worry over the issue.

“We sit here regularly but these bees have taken over the space and this CCTV Camera of the Ghana Police Service, they can result in accidents in case the are disturbed at some point, we are calling on stakeholders to assist in getting these wild insects ( bees) out of here..”
