Another assembly member of the Jirapa Municipality, Hon. Alfred Boolanpuo has been reported dead again after the reported death of two; Hon. Richard Badombie and Hon. Raymond Buduo Kandobong months ago.
His death, as gathered by our correspondent, occurred in the early hours of Tuesday May 23, 2023.
Confirming the report, a family source said ” Yes, it’s sad to confirm this. Our landlord is no more. We lost him yesterday and the body has since been deposited at the morgue for preservation”.
The family source told our correspondent that the late Assembly member fell sick and has been receiving medical treatment for some time until his demise yesterday.
The source said the funeral arrangements would be announced later.
Hon. Alfred Boolanpuo was an appointed assembly member of the Jirapa Municipal Assembly.
In 2019, Hon. Alfred one of the persons who offered himself to serve his people as the Assembly Member for Naayiri Electoral Area.
Even though he got defeated, he was one of the 16 appointed assembly members of the Jirapa Municipal Assembly.
According to records at the Jirapa Municipal Assembly, the late Hon. Alfred Boolanpuo was an active member of the assembly who actively contributed to deliberations of the general assembly.
Hon. Alfred was also chairman of the Jirapa chapter of Ghana Private Road Transport Union.
It is also said that he was the manager of Jirapa lorry station.
His death while in office as assembly member makes the third case in Jirapa.
The first was the death of Lawyer Richard Badombie. The pain of his death was widely felt; municipally, regionally and nationally.
He was gruesomely murdered in the Savannah Region by some unidentified men when he was traveling to Jirapa from Accra.
On October 13, 2022, Hon. Raymond Buduo Kandobong who was the Assembly Member for Han Electoral area also passed on after short illness.

Why do you always cover the captioned image with the upper west media image at the beginning of the story? I think the first image adds more meaning n relevance to the story pls do something about that. All the stories I read from your site are like that.
