
Mr. Yelwere Victor has set a mark in the Lives of the Girl Child after he had donated some necessary health materials(Sanitary Pads) to school girls to enable them control their bleeding cycle without stress.
Youth Leadership Parliament (YLP) is an organization established as a Model Parliament, a platform to give opportunities to aspiring young leaders across the Africa continent for leadership.
This is a pathway for training future Members of Parliament.
They are appointed as Youth MPs for the various constituencies in Ghana. This initiative models the legislative arm of Government.
A final year Business Administration student of KNUST, Yelewere Victor an aspiring Member of Parliament for Nandom constituency in the Youth Leadership Parliament in partnership with Sung Suma Foundation started donation of their target 500 pads for 500 girls in the Nandom Municipality.
The Aspirant and his team went to the Model Girls Junior High School in Brutu-Nandom to raise awareness and educate the girls on good Menstrual Hygiene practices and commenced their Donations towards their set target. The girls were excited to learn much from the team and wished for more of the education to enable them practice good menstrual hygiene.
The Aspiring YLP Member of Parliament and the Sung Suma foundation is hereby appealing to well wishers to support the course to raise funds for more sanitary pads for this project .
