The only radio station within the capital of Nadowli-Kaleo district was hit by lightening from a heavy rain two years ago and by this development, got closed down.

The issue was attributed to electrical problems within the station with others suggesting the earth wires are not properly connected to the ground.

The radio station know as Tumpaani FM with frequency 88.5Mhz has be revived by co-founders of the station which should serve as a community mouthpiece within the District.

The radio station came back on air 4days ago and has since met its usual patronage from around several areas it can be accessed including Wa, Jirapa, Lawra, Daffiamah, Wechiau and Tumu.
