The Upper West Regional Communication Officer of National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Issah Kantangyere Bonsingmini has Revealed how Students of Nandom SHS are being staved and also served foods below standard in a bid to keep the free SHS thriving.
In a statement released to Upper West Media Team on the 21st July 2023, he revealed pictures of porridge served as breakfast and tagged the situation faced by the students as Pathetic.
He expressed dismay with how the school’s Headmaster, Magnus-Innocent Der also the Regional Chairman of CHASS kept defending the government and it’s policies.
Mr. Bonsingmini questioned government about the Calibre of citizens being raised to man the affairs of the country in future.
“This was breakfast served this morning at Nandom Senior High School.
This is how pathetic the situation is, yet the headmaster, who’s the chairman of CHASS, UWR is still defending the system. What future leaders are we building?

Nandom SHS was Established in 1968 as St. Michaels Boys SHS, it’s First Headmaster was Late Bosco Handrix and Programs Offered in the School are General Arts, General Science and Business.
