Wa: Anaata Appeared Before Court Today – The Developments

Anaata’s Defilement Case has attracted attention and crowd to the Wa Circuit Court today 7th August 2023.

Several people were optimistic that the Wa Circuit Court will pass judgement on the case of Rashid Anaata.

He was remanded in Prison custody till Monday 14th of August 2023 for further probes and investigations.

Rashid Anaata was arrested on Saturday 5th of August 2023 in Wa after a Tip Off, Anaata has been on the Run since May 2023.

He was accused of Defiling over 30 underaged girls in the past with some of the girls attesting to the Defilement in a recorded video.

BAHASS Foundation took up the case and sent it before the commission of Human Rights and Administrative Justice for actions to be taken on behalf of the victims.

According to the Principal State Attorney, the Case is a Summary Trail that will be undertaken without Jury.

He continued that the State is excited that the public is taking keen Interest in the case.

“…He was brought before court but we are not done with investigations so we appealed with the court to leave him in custody till investigations are concluded, we will begin trial next week Monday, justice delayed is justice Denied..”
