The Upper West Regional office of the PURC will from 1st March, 2023 get a new Regional Manager and Public Relations Officer.
The new Manager, Mr. Cassiel Eghan Asiedu will take over from Mr. Entsi Jojo Charles who has been transferred to the Head Office as the Deputy Head- Media Relations of the Commission.

While Mr. Bashiru Nuhu Amin will also take over from Mr. Mohammed Adam Sulaiman as the new Public Relations Officer

Mr. Cassiel Eghan Asiedu, until his transfer was the Western Regional Public Relations Officer of the Commission. He started work with the Commission at the Ashanti Regional Office as the Commission’s first ever Regional Public Relations Officer and has risen through the ranks.

He has been instrumental with the Commission’s activities for the past 14 years. He has vast experience in stakeholder management, complaint management and regulatory processes.

During the tenure of Mr. Entsi Jojo Charles as the Regional Manager the office worked tirelessly to strategically position the Commission in the Upper West Region and parts of the Savannah Region as a true regulator; protecting the interests of both consumers and service providers.

Conclusion
We wish to thank the outgoing officers for their enormous contributions towards the region and wish them the very best in their future endeavors. We welcome the incoming officers and hope that they be accorded the needed cooperation to serve better.
