Kaleo Sec. Tech.: Donated Laptops/Computers Of Students Missing.

Kaleo Senior High Technical School has recently faced several problems relating to lack of computers to facilitate teaching and learning of ICT in the school.  Almost eight students pair a computer for studies in the school and this has made studies a problem.

The majority leader of parliament and able MP of the area, Hon. Alban Bagbinwho is also the majority leader in Parliament has donated over 150 computers to the school. Even on 4th October, 2016, Recently in his latest visit to the school after his campaign launch, the majority leader again donated five (5) set of desktop computers to the school

They were received by the Assistant headmaster, Mr. Osbert Dambiah, A former core maths teacher, on behalf of the headmistress.

Earlier in March this same year, Hon. Bagbin donated 10 set of laptop computers to this same school bringing it to a total of 15 computers for this year alone, 2016.

On the platform where the latest donation was made, a brave student raised the concern that the headmistress should release the computers for the use of the students. It seems his frail call was not heard.

In a seeming attempt to amplify this call by the student and bring the situation to the attention of the public, a teacher of the school who doubles a media practitioner at Radio Progress, Anzagira Alexis, also bemoaned the situation on his facebook wall.

Where are the computers that are continuously donated to the school?

The headmistress of Kaleo Senior High Technical, Madam Patricia has clearly stated she does not have interest in the school anymore and wishes to be Transferred to Nandon-Ko Senior High In The Nandom District as she feels there in so much inconvenience in her school.
