The Member of Parliament for Wa East Constituency in the Upper West, Godfrey Bayon Tangu says he is alive and kicking, contrary to rumors that he was dead.
The denial follows reports of his death that flooded the social media on early hours of Tuesday.
The Wa East legislator who spoke with Onua Fm on his way to Parliament said “I am not dead and I don’t know if dead people talk as I am doing with you right now. As we speak, I am a few distance away from Parliament to attend a committee meeting before sitting starts”.
The Upper West Member of Parliament Godfrey Bayon Tangu explained that, although he was taken ill for some time, he is now well after a life-saving surgery, adding that he had a good laugh when his attention was first drawn to the rumours of his death.

He was not amused about the rumours, noting, “I think my enemies are at work but they will not succeed. I don’t think any man of conscience will not thought of this and peddle it. But I want to assure the good people of my constituency and Ghana at large that, I am well and kicking”
