The customs division of Ghana Revenue Authority in Wa Municipal has impounded 4 vehicles with three suspected to be carrying Weed.

The vehicles have since the arrest been relocated to the Wa CEPS office at Sombo with vehicle numbers GN 7032 – 13, GT 2609 – 17 and ER 73 – 11, they have for the past 2 months been detained for further investigations.

Sources said the Vehicles were from a neighbouring country Burkina Faso to an Unknown destination in Ghana before they were arrested.

Amongst the vehicles were a Limozene and three other fuel tankers which carried the weed in their tanks.
The vehicles since then have been released for Auction at an undisclosed figure to the public and three times the cost per each to the owner.
The case is still being pursued.
