As part of this year’s 43rd KOBINE FESTIVAL celebration, the festival planning committee organised and embarked on a 10 kilometre health walk.
In attendance was the paramount chief of Lawra Naa Puowele Karbo III and some of his elders and pognamine, the Municipal Chief Executive Hon. Martin Bomba-ire, student nurses from Lawra NTC, some teachers, students, some departmental heads and youth of Lawra.
The team converged at the forecourt of the Lawra Chief palace after the walk and a health talk was delivered by Lissa Pognaa who is a nurse and a staff at Lawra Municipal hospital.
Speaking to the participants, the paramount chief thanked MTN Ghana for always been around to support the festival activities.
MTN Ghana also used the opportunity to outdoor this year’s Kobine festival Gala football match trophy whose final match will be played later this Afternoon to climax the end of the games.
Sparrows football club which I love to call “All time winners” will be encountering Babile football Club to either pick the trophy or give it away.
Kobine is set for Saturday October 5th 2019.
