
Former President Mahama Endorses Bede Ziedeng
Former Member of Parliament for Lawra constituency, Mr. Samson Abu and current parliamentary candidate, Mr. Bede Ziedeng has admitted in a campaign tour with former president Mahama, his intentions to partner with Mr. Samson Abu in campaigning to win back the Seat of Lawra constituency.
The Former Independent candidate Samson Abu was called on board the campaign floor in Lawra and introduced by Mr. Bede Ziedeng as his campaign Manager which Mr Samson Accepted. The Former Member of Parliament and election officer of the National Democratic Congress also called upon each other during the Primaries.
Mr. Samson Abu of Lawra and Mr. Farouk Bandanaa of Wa West went independent during the 2016 elections and as a result were suspended for betraying the party in a statement from the party. They were later called back from indefinite suspension.
Mr. Samson Abu will serve as the Director of Strategy for the Campaign according to the Parliamentary candidate of Lawra. The parliamentary candidate also promised to work with Daniel Tigbee, a young man who contested him in the party’s primaries.
