SDD UBIDS wins a $48,864 Research Grant

SDD UBIDS has won a $48,864 Development Impact West Africa (DIWA ) research grant funded by the Hewlett Foundation.
The proposal, “Impact of the Northern Rural Growth Programme on Smallholder Farmer Welfare in Upper West Region of Ghana” won this prestigious grant

The SDD-UBIDS was established by the Government of Ghana in 2019 and given a mandate by Act 1001 of 2019. Act 1001, 2019 is also the Charter of the university, and as such having been carved out of the UDS.

To be an Internationally acclaimed University that applies evidence from research and knowledge gained to solve the problems of business, national development, agencies, and non-state actors towards improved development outcomes.
