The Member of Parliament for Lawra Constituency, Mr. Bede Ziedeng has become the topic of the day after donating 150 bags of Sachet water to Birifoh SHS in Lawra Municipality.

He carried out the exercise three days after fire raised down a dormitory block of the school.

Many have questioned the relationship between the sachet water and the situation at hand with others suggesting there are other better things he could have donated instead of water.

on Friday 23rd of April 2021,  a dormitory block of Birifoh SHS in Babile was burnt down with some properties of students also destroyed. The National Disaster Management Organization has since moved inn to assess the situation and address it.
