
At least three more persons have died of COVID-19 taking Ghana’s death toll to 783, a Ghana Health Service (GHS) update has stated.
The country’s active cases now stands at 1,583 after 34 new coronavirus cases were confirmed at the laboratories.
So far, 24 cases have been classified as severe while six remain critical, according to GHS.
At the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) 1,651 cases have been detected with 1,433 recoveries so far.

Importation of COVID-19 cases
Meanwhile, Dr Lawrence Lartey, director of Port Health at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), says measures are in place to halt the importation of COVID-19 cases into the country through the airport.
