Principal Steps Down from MMDCE Race in Upper West

Mr. Saaka Adams is Principal for Wa Technical Institute

The Principal for Wa Technical Institute, Mr. Saaka Adams has withdrawn from the Race to be Appointed as Municipal Chief Executive in Wa.

Mr. Saaka Adams Sighted Personal Reasons as factors behind his decision not to contest.

This development has taken place in a letter dated 21st May 2021, a day to hos vetting slated for Saturday 22nd May 2021 amidst a committee Chaired by the Upper West Regional Minister Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih.

This will reduce the total number from 129 to 128.

Statement

“I wish to withdraw my candidature from the Wa Municipal Chief Executive contest, this decision has come as a result of personal issues that are beyond my control. As a result, I would not be available tor the on-going vetting. Sir, any inconvenience coursed is deeply regretted.

I wish to use this opportunity to thank the Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih for his exceptional leadership in the Region. Ialso want to thank the Regional Chairman, Father S.B. Kangbere and the entire Regional Executives for championing the affairs of the NPP in this difficult moment.

My greatest thanks go to the Wa Central Constituency Chairman, Chaiman Naaba Kuunsanpou Karim Kamara and his entire Executives for including me in the contest. I want to assure the vetting committee chairman that, I will avail myself anytime the need arise in supporting our great party

Lastly, I wish to congratulate and wish the aspirants a good luck as they go through the process
