Wa Airport

President of the Republic of Ghana,  Nana Akufo-Addo was expected to land in Wa at 9:30am on Tuesday 13th July 2021 but due to nimbostratus he couldn’t land at the Wa Airport.

The Weather was too cloudy according to reports from the Airport compelling the pilot to return to Tamale for Safe Landing.

The development has affected the itinerary of the president which recommends that he travels from Wa to Tumu Today to meet Kuoro Richard Babini Kanton of Tumu Traditional Area after meeting with the Overlord of the Waala Traditional Area,  Naa Fuseini Pelpuo IV.

There has not been an official communique from the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council  headed by Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih,  the Upper West Regional Minister as to their next line of action.
