A Past Student of Wa UDS now SDD-UBIDS, Abigail Boateng has been set aback by the Death of Mr. Eric Johnson’s Death which took place on the 10th of February 2024.

She penned down a Message about how visionary and Dependable The Late Eric Johnson Would have been to the Economy of Jirapa and Upper West Region at Large.

Eric Johnson Founded Royal Cosy Hills Safari Resort formerly Lloyd’s Ville Hotel in 2018 and it has since created lots of Jobs in the Upper West Region.

Sources have alleged that he was involved in some Chieftaincy Related issues and it could have resulted in his death.

Statement Below:

Rich man who is the owner of Royal cozy hills in Jirapa which is located in the Upper West Region was murdered in cold blood in one of his hotel rooms. Man had a great vision. His hotel is like a second home to UDS Wa students. It was our own Dubai. We used to call the place Jirapa Dubai.

We almost went there every SRC week.
Whenever you want to clear your head, and move away from the pressure of academics and life in general you and your friends could head there to have loads of fun.

The place is very beautiful 🤩 He was transforming the place to become a resort kinda by bringing in wildlife from abrokyire all oh. The last time we visited they were talking about bringing them in batches. Some were in and others were on their way.

I remember asking s3 Enti omo de mmoa no fro plane na mete Ghana ha? We all laughed about it. It is rather unfortunate that such a great man is gone just like that. Eeeeiiiii ! Smh 🤦‍♀️
The vision this man had could have transformed the Upper West Region. It is a great tourist site with a very cool and calm environment. That is where everyone wants to be when the heat begins.

His vision was a very beautiful one. It started manifesting coz every time you visit the place you would clearly see an improvement.

It is very sad that suspects who have been arrested are all employees he pays with his hard earned money at the same hotel. How cruel could they be? It is always the agyakoo mma who don’t like peace. They always want to put themselves in trouble.

Eeeiiiiii ! The have shortened his life just like that. I pray his property doesn’t rot away but be well mentioned so his legacy lives on else wabr3 agu !.
