The 2024 Parliamentary Candidate for Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency, Mr. Ankaara Sankara has been hijacked by some individuals suspected to be NPP party hoodlums on Wednesday 15th January 2024.

A vehicle with Registration Number GS-5831-23, Given to him for his political campaign was forcefully seized in the process. According to the victim, the vehicle was seized with a caution statement that is was a directive by the Savannah Regional Secretary of the new Patriotic Party instructing that all party vehicles should be returned but Mr. Sankara According to the attackers didn’t return his voluntarily.

Speaking to Mr. Sankara, he indicated that the orchestra to seize his vehicle was masterminded by the Constituency Chairman, Organizer, Youth Organizer and Regional Deputy Nasara Coordinator.

“The vehicle was forcefully taken away by the Constituency chairman, organiser, youth organiser and regional deputy Nasara Coordinator,
They said they were acting on the instruction of the regional secretary of the party” – He Said.
