A devastating fire incident occurred at Kajia Duabadi Enterprise in Tumu, a Suburb of Sissala East Municipality in Upper West Region where seven shops were engulfed, resulting in the loss of property valued at thousands of Ghana Cedis.
The Incident occurred late hours of 22nd April 2026.
According to eyewitness accounts to RadfordFM, the blaze is believed to have started around 9 PM last night.

The affected shops were stocked with maize, soya beans, and cement, some of which had been offloaded earlier yesterday .
Meanwhile RadfordFM reported that the Tumu Fire Service tender was out of commission as at the time the shop owners made the call to the service . The fire is still burning and may continue for the next hours.
RadfordFM is yet to speak with the owner of the shops Mr Pato and the Fire Service for the cause of the inferno.
