Wa Municipal Hospital Overseen
by Dr. Bukari Zakari has moved from Paperless System of Data Capturing to Manual Data Collection resulting in delays and queues According an Investigation by Some Journalists of Radio Wa.
The report revealed that the development has been persistent for two weeks.

The shift from Digitization to manual entry was reported on Monday, 27th of October 2025 after some checks at the office of biostatistics.

Going manual could encure so much paper cost for the hospital in the long run.

“Municipal Hospital paperless system breaks down for two weeks now.
They are back to manuel entries.”

The Municipal Hospital serves over 200,000 People in the Regional Capital of Upper West Region and was converted from Regional hospital to Municipal and Psychiatric Hospital in August 2019 by Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare, Director General of Ghana Health Service.

This was after the launch of an ultramodern Upper West Regional Hospital on Sunday, 18th August 2019.

    this is false information because it a systemic challenge faced nationwide due to LHIms expiration contract date. This is poor investigation done.
